This 2018 travelogue tells the story of my adventures in Sri Lanka and India. During this time I work on a volunteer programme, encounter wild elephants and wild "fighting monks", get stranded aboard an ocean-going ship, find myself in the Himalayas (still dressed for the beach), meet some incredible goats (and yaks), and experience the kind of problems that any traveller dreads. Resolving these problems determines whether or not I will be reunited with Madelene - my "Swedish princess" - who I established such a strong connection with during my first few weeks in Sri Lanka.
