Having had a bit of a break from painting while I concentrated on video art, I was keen to get back into it, and to experiment with new styles. For these paintings, I dispensed with brushes and used my fingers instead (I also used a tent peg, for scratching in finer details).
The paintings are based on frames from my pigeon videos, which formed the basis for "Pigeon Palace".
